  1. Wow you have the podcast ready before it's even on here :). Looking forward to listening to it right in a couple of hours. Thanks!

  2. That was really fast. Much appreciated. I still have to listen to the one before that, because I didn´t want to know too much before the last three, but I can´t really stay away for another week. ;) And we already know a lot more now.

Regarding them not using the gas on Jeff and Lester, I thought that was because they Morgan and Casey felt as if those two had earned the truth after saving the day and didn´t want to use it on them again. Especially because they always stayed suspicious and taking away the last 24 hours wouldn´t have changed that.

    1. I figure they just got tired of doing the gas thing only to have to do it again and again and again.

  3. I am fast tonight. I have the podcast and article up before the episode is finished on the west coast. Talk about speed!

That won't ever happen again, since I will take my time with it next week.

  4. I don't agree that Chuck was making fun of Canada when they had the national anthem I kind of think they are doing what they did with Chuck and morgan when chuck was hyping up Morgan to going undercover. But when casey about doing for your country and lester said Canada then I think so. I like you podcast.

  5. Oh man. Yeah, the hotel room was a sucker punch. AND the suitcase. I mean, we had an entire episode on that ONE piece of... whatever it is. And now it's just casually laying there. Just mocking us.

Is it me or was Sarah in kind of similar clothes to when she's in her hotel in the first episode (at the end). OH man oh man. I'm so pumped for next week.

Are we gonna get a callback to that picture Chuck drew?

  6. Julian says...

I wonder how long she will be in the dark about her memory ? You know since chuck probably has like a million pictures of the two of them on his phone that he can show her at some point to get her to question what is going on .

The more I think about it now , I think that the end of next weeks first episode Sarah will come to terms with what's going on . She won't have her memories , but she'll be on the same page as Chuck . Then the finale will be them and everyone else fighting to find Quinn and get her memories back . I'm not a fan of amnesia story lines in general , but I think if it played out some way like that I could really dig it . Just as long as Sarah is not totally clueless til the last possible moment .

I look forward to your podcast next week Magnus !

One thing is for certain , whatever song that is playing during the final scene will probably be on repeat for a few days after :)

  7. I agree with what you said in the podcast about how this storyline should have been triggered earlier.

Magnus, do you know if the writers considered that, but changed their minds? I think they felt they owed the fans a "Sarah's mom" episode and had to do that. If you took out that episode, they could have initiated this storyline at least one episode sooner.

    1. As I understand it, this current story line was conceptualized this way from the start. But I've also heard there were other versions considered.

    2. As for Sarah's mom stuff, I didn't hear about that until later in the game so... I imagine that was tossed in once they met to break the season.

    3. Nice ratings for the episode last night, not that we really care about that *too* much anymore. Still nice to see!

  8. Everyone carries a cell phone nowadays. You would think Casey would body search the guy before he puts him in the coffin. I understand that if Casey takes the cell phone away then there is no episode (Alex wouldn't be kidnapped and Sarah wouldn't be accessible to this madman for him to kidnap later) but still...you would think Casey would use common sense.

Still loved the ep and I agree with you in the podcast that they should have not done the Morgan intersect story line...this Sarah memory loss seems like such a golden idea that I now wish "Chuck" had another season to expand on it instead of just 2 episodes in one night.

  9. Oh and btw...best line from the episode (imo)

"We have something much better than a BuyMore, a train full of Japanese people."

  10. Bullet train was a good solid episode.

I don't think season 5 has had as many outstanding episodes as previous sessions but most of them have been decent to solid efforts.

We are finally at the end.

    1. Agreed. I enjoyed Bullet Train but it was far from perfect. Still gives me hope that the finale could be ok.

DR, I like your voice.. ;)
