Nice Banner! : )
ReplyDeleteHopefully the 3rd episode is half as good as you are selling it after the first 2 i hope they found the pace that worked for this show with this episode
I doubt you will love this episode if you haven't liked the last two... but if you have liked them, then this will likely be an episode you enjoy very much.
ReplyDeleteI actually liked the 2nd episode so if the 3rd is going to be better i am cool : )
ReplyDeletebtw. if u keep upsetting ninjas by quoting them you might wanna consider some Kung Fu lessons : )
It's OK, I am sure the person meant "don't quote ME" and not "don't quote me anonymously." :)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to see Rebel!Morgan.. I think its great for his character. As a mild shipper, I wonder if there will be a cute Chuck & Sarah moment. Looking forward to the ep! :)
ReplyDeleteLove Morgan's t-shirt logo ;)- nice touch. I'm excited based on the comments above and the promo. The Chuck/Morgan showdown looks pretty awesome. Also, Morgan's hair- nuff said.

ReplyDelete"As a mild shipper, I wonder if there will be a cute Chuck & Sarah moment. Looking forward to the ep! :)"
That will depend on what you find to be cute. There are Chuck and Sarah scenes, as usual. Tell us if you find them to be cute after you've seen the episode.
IMO, there are some cute Sarah and Casey moments, though. The Sarah and Casey scenes in this episode are fun. Who would have thought a few seasons ago that Sarah, of all people, would be giving Casey relationship advice.
Bring on the frosted tips! Bring on the seventh grade memories---can't wait to go back in time with Morgan and Chuck. Bring on the fun.
ReplyDeletemh
What is wrong with Fedak? Why can't he give the few remaining loyal viewers even just one more hot Chuck and Sarah scene like in Colonel before the show ends? Chuck and Sarah suck now. No wonder young males have abandoned the show.
ReplyDeleteGiven everything happening in this episode, this is not the one you should expect a hot scene in. It's got to happen organically.
ReplyDeleteBased on episode descriptions alone, maybe 505?
Ironically, it was giving fans what they were screaming for--Chuck and Sarah married--that made the couple more "boring."
Everyone knows that unmarried couples on TV have more sex scenes than married ones do.
Anonymous #2
Guys in their twenties don't want to see sweet scenes. They want hot scenes. If you want cute and sweet watch the Disney Channel. Fedak seems to have made a deliberate decision to make Chuck and Sarah act like a platonic couple sometime in season 4. Very bad mistake on his part. Chuck being a family show is a myth. Only a small percentage of the viewers are children. Just showing Yvonne in sexy outfits clearly is not enough to hold the crucial young male demo.
ReplyDelete"Morgan's hair" LOL :P
ReplyDeleteI have liked this season so far so I can't wait! :)
S.
So now the show is using middle aged actors like Adam Baldwin and Carrie-Anne Moss to bring in some much needed hotness. And two of the best looking young actors in Hollywood barely touch each other. What a joke!
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with hot middle-aged actors providing hotness?
ReplyDeleteDon't knock middle-aged getting sexy until you've tried it.
ReplyDeleteAre we going to have the weekly "not enough sex" bitch session every time an episode is discussed?
Come on, anonymous complainers*, calculate how many episodes out of the previous 80 actually had what you are looking for and those are your odds of getting it in these 13.
If all you want is attractive people making out, shouldn't you be watching the CW?
* unless it's just one person who repeats himself over and over and over.
I'm pretty sure it's the same person over and over. :)
ReplyDeleteChuck's little middle school rant in the sneak peak was hilarious, as was Sarah's reactions.
ReplyDeleteI thought the funniest scene was where C**** ******** **** ***** ****** ****** **** ***.

SPOILERS!
ReplyDeleteMagnus, delete that if I have no permission to play the asterisk game.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous #2
Plus, I may have left out a word.
ReplyDeleteAmateur!
Anonymous # 2
Please, I borrowed the asterisk game from Ausiello anyway.
ReplyDeleteI really didn't like season 4 and I loved this season so far! LOVE LOVE LOVE Chuck without the intersect, I have been wishing for it since forever. Not crazy about Intersect!Morgan but I'm actually enjoyed it so far. Really looking for ep.3!
ReplyDeleteMonica
didn't like the 2nd episode but i LOVED episode 3! it was amazing!
ReplyDeleteAs one of the people who got to see tonight's episode already, I have to agree with the others. Great episode! Episodes like that make me very sad that it all has to end soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this season so far as I have every other season and now that this is apparently the best episode, I can't wait to see it! Also, Morgan really needs to get the Intersect out. He's becoming a whole new person because he can't handle it. I'm still deciding whether I like Chuck with or without it though, I think i'm still hoping that he gets the Intersect back. I really hate that this is the final season.
ReplyDeleteLet me add another 'loved it' to the chorus of those who saw it early. I liked the first two but this one is up there with the best episodes of the show.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely tune in live. Worth every second.
ReplyDeleteYou all make me curious!!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder tonight's episode...
I hope I won't be dissapointed!!
If it's like episode 2 (and I feel it will be), then I'm excited. If it's like the premiere, I might have to make a Fedak voodoo doll.
ReplyDeleteIt's not like either of them. It's just a great episode.
ReplyDeleteI've seen it already, but I'm still counting down the minutes until work ends and I can get home to watch it again--live.
ReplyDeleteI just want to see again ASAP.
When I first saw it, I thought it would release me to being able to go out tonight, but noooooooo.
Anon #2
Just out of curiosity, how have so many people seen this episode early?
ReplyDeleteJim
About 3.1 million
ReplyDelete"Just out of curiosity, how have so many people seen this episode early?"
ReplyDeleteIf you had to know, you would know.
We swore an oath to never tell.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous #3.
ratings are gonna suck today. 100+ televised college basketball games. not going over a .8 at best
ReplyDeleteClearly sports don't hurt CHUCK since it went up against the NCAA championship and didn't dip, and it's highest rating THIS season was against game 7 of the World Series.
ReplyDeleteIf anything, this should drive more people to the show. 1.1!
You will not be disappointed!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous #5.
I have no idea what Anonymous is talking about. Besides the fact that only March Madness gets decent ratings, I do not see "100+" basketball games in my TV Guide. ESPN is running the 'famous' "Quicken Loans Carrier Classic with Michigan State vs. North Carolina"
ReplyDeleteWow, NBC should have put Chuck on hiatus to avoid competing with THAT blockbuster. :-)
We don't need to blame a dinky basketball game if the ratings are low.
Well, then there definitely won't be any boost. No one will be watching that.
ReplyDeleteMy feelings for this episode?
ReplyDeleteOhgodyes.
That is all.
So much I liked about this episode. But, I'll mention a few:
ReplyDelete1. I think it was one of the strongest "Casey" episodes without technically being a Casey episode. From his romantic pursuit of Gertrude to being a father to Alex, this really brought out aspects of the character that were a delight to see. The scene where he consoled Alex over the break up was one of my favorites for the character ever.
2. I loved "shipper" Sarah helping her friend navigate his romance with Gertrude. She was kind of his relationship "handler". Loved seeing her in this role.
3. Liked the continued reinforcement that Chuck doesn't need the intersect to be a true hero. I'm glad they've gotten through his initial doubts about himself and are moving forward.
4. In terms of forward movement, while I've read some critics sayomg it moved too fast, I'm just glad they got past the Morgan as intersect phase of this season.
I am liking the ego Morgan I hope that part comes back every once in awhile so then that will keep Chuck on his feet.
ReplyDeleteSO SO SO SO SO GOOD.
ReplyDeleteJust finished recording a 2-hour podcast of which maybe 15 minutes was about this episode. I will probably post that and my opinions later.
ReplyDeleteThere was stuff I liked a lot, but overall definitely not one of my favourites at all.
ReplyDeleteHATER!
ReplyDeleteCAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE! :(
ReplyDeleteLoved it!
ReplyDeleteThat was a solid wall of awesome. Loss of great character moments for everyone, but one of my favorite bits was the revelation that all this time, Jeff has been just one good night's sleep away from normal.
ReplyDeleteJim
Lots not loss. Stupid predictive text.
ReplyDeleteJim
I loved zac's smile in this episode. He's so cute.
ReplyDeleteIt was more Casey...
I love Chuck as a chracter I want more him...
I'm glad to see the morgan's intersect will end in next episode ( I saw promo)
I don't want to see Morgan's anything He should be in backround always!!
more zac less others:))
It will be our Chuck finally...
Hehehe, that was one of my favorite things too (as I said in the podcast). Tons of fun character moments.
ReplyDeleteNow that I am done with my FRINGE and SUPERNATURAL writeups over at GeekFurious... I now must tackle the CHUCK review. Do I sleep on it, or do I write it now? What to do? What to do?
Great Episode. lol at casey. so did morgan and alex break up?
ReplyDeleteHere is my article about the episode.
ReplyDeletezac was hot in pilot uniform!!! I loved it
ReplyDeleteso the big payoff was some weak flashback conversation and magically morgan is back to normal, really? and and now he has moved into a married couples home. why cant they give this little bitch a place of his own, or does he not get paid for working at the buy more. This season is making season 3 look like masterpiece theater
ReplyDeleteI wish they had kept Kathleen as Casey's love interest. If they wanted him with a spy, they should have brought Ilsa back. Those two women were supposed to be(specially in Kathleen's case)the loves of his life. Now he's with this woman who has such a hold on him that he's never mentioned her before? Casey falls in love very easily, doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteTo quote Ellie:
ReplyDelete"It doesn't return them to normal, it sort of cuts through the fog."
I got the impression Morgan's cure was temporary. That's why they have to remove the Intersect.
Zachary Levi was so hot walking through to the roof in uniform (aaawwww)
ReplyDeleteI think it is funny anyone is talking about Kathleen. I told you last season YOU WILL NEVER SEE HER AGAIN.
ReplyDeleteI liked the episode it had a few nice elements with my favorite being the Casey/Gertrude dynamic
ReplyDeleteAdam Baldwin and Carrie Anne Moss did a fantastic job
After a season of *blah blah* peck *blah blah* extended peck : ) we finally got a couple with great chemistry
Excited to see what the writers have planned for them next
I liked the Jeff bit with him being so loco because he needed a good night sleep and i wonder how that is going to affect Jeffster on the long run : )
They did a better job with the Morgansect fight scene unfortunately you can still see Josh's double when Morgan throws a kick
Maybe in future episodes they can script only punch fights for Morgan
What will see in chuck razorback?? You never give us a clue...
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting your ******* spoilers:))
Why give spoilers when people just copy and paste them on their site and then claim credit for them? No, I said last year that I wouldn't do any more and I am a man of my word.
ReplyDeleteMagnus i know you don't do spoilers anymore but i have to ask this little thingy : )
ReplyDeleteIn the next episode promo i saw Decker coming for Casey at Chuck's place so is that going to play a important part in the remaining episodes?
Play an important part? Like... is Casey going to die next week? No.
ReplyDeleteBut if you mean anything else, then... let me just say this: how often has something really important happened in episode 4 of a CHUCK season?
ReplyDeleteNope i meant if Casey is going to be tied up to the Decker storyline putting the emphasis more on Casey for the remaining episodes
ReplyDeleteAfter 3 episodes with Morgan getting more screen time then he got in the first 3 seasons i think the emphasis on Casey would be a nice change
ZzzzzzzZzzzzzz.
ReplyDeleteForget about everybody!! You can give me spoilers!!
ReplyDeleteI won't tell anyone:))
I just wonder if Chuck's life will be in danger or not??
Yeah, Chuck will die this season... because that's what happens all the time on shows named after the main character.
ReplyDeleteNo please don't mad at me...
ReplyDeleteI just wonder that's it:))

ReplyDeleteThe writers seem to be in love with Morgan so i don't think they will kill him
ReplyDeletenow that he will no longer be the intersect(process that will probably last for a few more episodes) they made sure they keep Morgan in the main frame by moving him back with Chuck and Sarah
So don't worry Morgan fans if you get less Morgan in Castle you will definitely see more Morgan at the Bartowski residence : (
Now that I have discovered the way to IP ban someone from this site... I am itching to test it out.
ReplyDeleteGo!scratch that itch. it will save you a lot of trouble reading and deleting their crap ;)
ReplyDeleteanti-trolls
Gina, I removed your comment for including a series finale spoiler to another show. That's called ambush spoiling.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteYay! But no lifetime ban?
ReplyDeleteA thought about Chuck's intersectless fighting skills. If he does have some sort of residual muscle memory or something and isn't just training extra hard, wouldn't Casey or especially Sarah notice and comment on it? I mean Morgan took out a whole bunch of what were probably pretty well trained fighters, yet Chuck can stand up to him? Doesn't seem likely no matter how hard he trained.
Jim
Neither Casey nor Sarah were present when Chuck has shown the fighting skills in 502 or 503.
ReplyDeleteI guess we won't know the answer to this mystery for a while.
