Chuckfest3: Ordering Info and More

There have been a lot of questions about Chuckfest3 since we announced it last week. So here are the details you will need regarding donation per ticket, number of tickets you can order and so on.

1. Chuckfest3 will be at a location in the Los Angeles, California area on the weekend of November 4-6, 2011 (we are pretty sure it is the 5th but clear up the days just in case). We will provide all those attending with the exact location before the date of the event. EDIT: We just confirmed the 5th of November.

2. The donation per ticket is $300. This covers some expenses the organizers incur for the event while also providing a sufficient amount to go to our charity of choice, Operation Smile. Last time we were able to raise over $17,000 AFTER expenses.

3. There will only be SIXTY (60) tickets available for sale to the public. Last time we sold those tickets in about a day. There were many people upset that they missed out on them. This time, we are giving everyone three-day notice before going live.

Tickets will go on sale at 12pm EST on Thursday the 22nd of September.

We will provide a link to the ticket ordering page at that time. Look to this site for that at exactly 12pm on Thursday. There will be a limit of FOUR (4) tickets per order.

4. FOUR (4) tickets will be raffled off by a trusted fan site, to those who donate $20 or more. We will have more details about that soon. However, the only way to guarantee attendance is to order tickets on Thursday. We expect many entrees into the raffle. Chuckfest3 will be the final event of this type.

5. The tickets purchased and/or won in the raffle DO NOT include travel expenses. If you buy a ticket or win the raffle, you will need to find your way to Los Angeles, California in the great republic of the United States of America!

6. I almost forgot... attending will be anyone and everyone from the cast, writing team etc that we can get. Currently confirmed are, ***, ****, ****, *****, ***, and more. :)

Now let's revisit what the first event we ever did was like. We expect this next one will be better.

  1. How much notice before the date becomes locked in are we going to get?

  2. We expect everything will be locked in very soon. The 5th is the date we are aiming for... and the one we are telling everyone involved to clear. We are just noting the weekend as a potential just in case. But I expect the 5th to be the day.

  3. And if you meant the location... you will know within a few days of the event. That will be up to our special operations security team.

  4. 1. How long is the event approximately?

    2. How long is the cast expected to be at the event with audience?

    3. They are shown signing merchandise in video , is that merchandise that I can bring or to have signed I must buy at the event?

  5. I was talking about the date. Travel plans and all that! Thanks!

  6. I don't think we have ever sold any merchandising at the events. We either give away stuff or people bring their own. But we usually tell people to limit the stuff they want to sign to one or two things. That way the cast isn't just signing your stuff. There should be other type of interaction.

We have other things planned as well but those will be announced later to those attending.

As for how much time... that is up to the cast and their people. I think a few of them stuck around for a while during the second one. Those who were there got lots of Zac time. :)

  7. I was at Chuckfest 1 & 2 and loved both events. They were different and we had different experiences both times. Like Magnus said, Zac stuck around for a while after others left and he sang to us. He was so sweet and kind. Everyone was awesome and I got to talk to Chris Fedak for a while and he was gracious and so appreciative of everyone. I was too intimidated by Yvonne to say anything to her so I smiled and stammered for a second but she was wonderful and adorable.

They were all wonderful and adorable.

  8. Well, I guess I'm doing the raffle this time. I am certain those who have the cash will see it's worth it.

  9. Cool. Good luck. And it is certainly worth it. You get an experience of your life and you help change someone's life in the process.

  11. Hi Magnus – thanks so much for putting this together. I went to Chuckfest 2 last year and it was wonderful. Zac and the rest of the cast are the sweetest, most down to earth people you could ever meet. My question is do you know where in LA the event is being held? I’m not that familiar with the city and I want to book a hotel room as close to the event as possible, as soon as possible. Thanks! SweetLadyJanie

  13. How is buying the tickets going to work? Are you going to be posting a new link tomorrow at the time or do we just come back to this page?

  14. I will post a link to ordering here tomorrow (though, likely in a different thread so just go to the main site link).

I will find out for you whether you can pay with PayPal. Credit cards should be fine.

Oh and don't give me too much credit for putting this together. I couldn't do this without the other team members who rock!

  15. Wait, are you posting the link tomorrow or Thursday? I'm confused! Thanks!

  16. Razorback, tomorrow is the 21st but in the main article you stated the link and tickets would not be available until the 22nd. Did something change. IN the comments at 2:19pm and 6:11pm I got that a link will be put on the site tomorrow the 21st but I still am reading in the main article that the link will be provided when the tickets go on sale. My wife is a big Chuck fan and her bday is that weekend, though I cannot afford us to both go (From Orlando, FL) I am willing to send her to Chuckfest to have a great time. I am just trying to not screw up the order time. I am sure you can understand.

  17. Sorry, I will be posting the link on the 22nd.

  18. Am I missing something? Where is the link to buy Chuckfest tickets?

  19. Do you need volunteers? I am willing to help.

    ReplyDelete
  20. As far as I know, we are using the same volunteers as the last couple of times. Thanks for asking, though.
