  1. Will we see Casey reunite with his ex-fiancee (Kathleen McHugh) in some way or is that the end of her story arc?

  2. do you think chuck will ever change its opening i mean don't get me wrong i like it now it just reminds me of season 1

  3. Hello Magnus, just wondering if some of the remaining episodes of the first 13 will be more dramatic in nature? Season four has been fairly light hearted in the first 5 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Do you know if the Volkoff character has already been cast? In which episode will we see him?

    ReplyDelete
  5. What does Alex think Casey does? She knows he is somewhat a spy, had to change his name, etc, but does she really think he works at the Buy More, or does she know it is a cover?

And when he told her to get the money and run away with her mom, did she tell her mom? Is she keeping it a secret from her mom that her presumed dead dad is alive? Does she lie to her mom about the time she spends with Casey?

  6. Where and how do you get your information? You seem to know everything before anyone else.... intriguing....

Well, last question: with the back 11 now, do you think we will get to see more of Sarah's past? Perhaps her mom?

    ReplyDelete
  7. quick question... after which episode is the two week break? and is it two weeks?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Addie, I can answer that right now. There is apparently no two week break in November. At some point it was on the schedule as happening after 4.06 but there is now a one week break after 4.07. I will need to check to find out when the Christmas break happens.

  9. With Sarah being open to marriage and the split-up and the first fight, and one of your funky spoilers about Las Vegas wedding, does any of it actually happen ( engagement or wedding ) or was Sarah's responce to be open to engagement just a ploy by Schwartz and Fedak to keep the shippers from jumping during the next few episodes?

  10. Will we see chuck fire a gun this season and or fire a gun and actually shoot someone? Is he simply going to remain a killing virgin? How can he be a spy and yet be so against guns? He looks like a mamas boy when all he does is hold a gun and never fires!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Are they going to continue to use sarah as a kind of get out clause when it comes to chuck being a spy who can pull the trigger even when no one he loves is in danger and it is just a gun fight, or will it be I cannot shoot because sarah will think that I will be a changed man?

  12. I know that you said that this season they wanted to do a sweet sexy, so everything is toned down, does that mean they wanted to keep that to the original 13. So is there a chance in the back 11 to have a scene like chuck and jill had where chuck and sarah are under the covers you knowing, lots of kissing and smiling and you know........colonel hotness!!!!!!!!!

  13. Hi Magnus,

After the news that there will be no new episodes in December, is there any possibility of having a "Christmas episode",sooner or later, in the season?
    Greetings from Portugal

  14. Hi Magnus,

Do you know if they have written all of the first 13 episodes for this season? Will the pick up of the back 11 now change how the last few episodes of the original 13 play out?

  15. Hi Magnus, an unusual request here.

I don't know if you have seen the show Terriers, but if you have not, I think it is something you would enjoy.

If you have not seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it. There are some great shows on the air at the moment, this one has both great writing, and acting. The ratings are very bad, it needs everyone on the internet to get on board, or it will cease to exist

My point of making this post was if you are a fan, for you to talk about it on the podcast at some point to maybe turn some Chuck fans on to another wonderful hour of television. If you have not seen it, do watch it and if you like it as I think you will, talk about it on twitter or a future podcast.

You have a voice which you use for the forces of good with Chuck a show we all love, I hope you can do a little of the same with Terriers.

    Thank you,

    Jason

  16. Hi Mangus,
I'm a newer listener, and I'm just wondering how you get your information, do you work on the show in some capacity, or have a friend that works on the show?
Love the pod cast, keep up the great work!

  17. My twitter account is @peterrwilson. I post it again just to hear you attempt to say it again!

Anyway my question is: We have yet to see a real "gamechanging" episode yet this season. Will we get one in the next couple episodes or are we gonna have to wait until episodes 12-13 like last season?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I have noticed a pattern here that the writers are taking chuck on, last season there was not intimacy between chuck and sarah until episode 12 and then it just went into overdrive where they were kissing in every episode post 12. The opposite is happening this season where they kissed a lot in the first couple of episodes and now it is toning down and I sense a fight. Firstly is this intentional and if so I am cool with it because I was one of the people who said if they just smiled at each other I am golden and secondly magnus will they reverse this trend in the future episodes where we get back to the intimacy and kissing?

    ReplyDelete
  19. I'm lovin' the direction that Schwartz & Fedak have taken CHUCK so far this season. The arc about Frost has been great. With an additional 11 episodes coming up, do you have any idea where the story will be going? What will be the next big theme? Love your podcast and your insights into the show!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi Magnus,

I think this is the first time in an episode that chuck has not flashed, will this be the beginning of an arc where chuck can learn to be a spy without the intersect in his head? Also I am on casey and sarah's side in regards to kidnapping his mom, the last time they went after someone (Shaw) without a plan and based on emotion papa b died, so I think it only right that they find out the truth about her before it is too late.

  21. Why in the world is Chuck season 4 not on iTunes to purchase each week? It makes those of us in other countries have to go by illegal means PLUS we can't tell we're watching Chuck. I loyally bought each episodes last year to help support Chuck in the only way I could. So, what's the deal??

  22. Hi LittleChuckFan,

    greetings from Greece!

My question is do you like Linda Hamilton for Chuck's mum? And how many episodes she will appear?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Do you think the Nerve Toxin is a bit too much like the fear toxin from Nolan's "Batman Begins?" Or do you think it was just different enough to keep the show "original?"

Haven't seen Greta in a while, did they cut that part out completly, even though some fan-sites report new Gretas are cast (ie Summer Glau)?

    thanks, you guys are great!

  24. Is it a baby or a snail?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi Magnus,

Is it possible that the split up is to do with chuck feeling that sarah and casey do not trust and respect him as a spy and so he asks beckman if he can go on difficult and dangerous missions solo in order to prove himself. I mean after this episode where they basically treated him like an asset at the end, I see it as a possibility.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The back 11 episode order for Chuck (as all of the other back episode orders of marginal shows by NBC) are nothing more than a stall until new management assumes control of the network. Comcast is not purchasing NBC to have the best 3rd place network in the USA! A massive retooling will take place when Zucker totally removed from control of NBC. At some time Chuck’s luck will run out and it will stand or dye based on it’s numbers. That is the true reality of network television.

We all love Chuck but the best way to get a season 5 is to get more viewers!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Magnus,

You mentioned in your last Dear DR that sarah could finally get everything she thought was an impossibility until someone decides she cannot have that. Is that someone sarah or chuck? I mean does the fact that in the beginning of the season they promised each other no more lies or secrets and sarah broke that promise by going behind chucks back and that decision either causes sarah to lose chucks trust or chuck decides that he cannot trust her if she does not respect him not only as a spy but a person and lover because she potentially sold out his mother and a chance for ellie's happiness?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Hi Magnus,

Do you think that when sarah made her decision to abduct mama b with casey that she made it on her past emotional baggage. Do you think that she took a look at mama b and thought this is a women who I used to be like, where all I cared about was my next mission and so sarah acted out of preservation, where she knows what mama b is capable of and she did not want to lose everything that she loves in this world (chuck) and that is why she did what she did and not because some file said mama b was rogue. Did sarah act on a professional or personal interest?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hi Magnus,

This last episode tried to show us that when it comes to blind spots chuck has one when it concerns his mom. Is it possible that maybe sarah will pay the ultimate price in the short term with her obvious blind spot being her love for chuck? I think in a way she acted in part selfishly so that she could protect the life she has with chuck, what do you think will be the ramifications of her decision?

  31. Hey Magnus,

I don't know if it's just me, but the end of this podcast is just in the middle of your answering questions from the comment section. Maybe there was an error in upload?

    Just thought you should know.

  32. Ryan, it plays fine on my end. Were you listening from the website link? If so, I have noticed that every now and then it won't buffer completely and then just stops. When that happens, I just refresh/reload the page and try it again.

  33. Thanks for the podcast. I really enjoyed it. I think I agree about the big weak spots you mentioned about the ep. The scientist plot felt really weak and Chuck and Sarah acted at least as stupid as Shaw in Mask. I think actually holding the gas masks and not putting them on after there was a timer going off was even more stupid than Shaw´s behaviour in Mask.

I really liked MamaB and I enjoyed Linda Hamilton´s performance a lot.

Anyway I liked that you gave your honest opinion about what didn´t work, because I don´t know much about the production of a tv show and I can´t really tell that well, if the writing, acting or directing or maybe even the editing is responsible for something not really working.

But I have to agree that the episode was really lacking on being scary. There wasn´t much in regards to Halloween at all. And we didn´t see anyone in costume, although that really wouldn´t have fit, but I would have still liked to see it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Magnus,

I would never ask anyone to promote something if they did not watch it and like it first. That is why I asked you to check out Terriers.

Since you have not seen it, sometime do yourself a favor and give it a chance, it's one of the best things on television right now.

You seem to enjoy intelligent well written material, so this is right up your alley.

Yes the name of the show sucks, but so does Chuck as you said.

Anyway I meant no disrespect in wanting you to check it out, I was just trying to get a fan of quality stuff to see something well done.

    Now onto Chuck,

I thought the first two acts in the episode and the way they ended them, were among the best the show has ever done.

I agree the rest of the hour once they get back to the castle with Robert Englund had some holes in it.

The scenes with Casey and Morgan, and even the little scene with Mama B following Honey & Elle to the baby store worked well.

In terms of how they have written Elle, except for a few scenes last year and this, I don't see how anyone can say anything but feel sorry for Sarah Lancaster.

They have given her nothing to work with, they make her seem to be a shrew, and once where she was Chuck's big sister who was a smart intelligent doctor looking out for him, now she is the one he has to lie to, and she is always the last to know everything that is going on.

They did not write Sarah well last year for most of the first half of the year. The disaster with Shaw, and other things, then they rediscovered how to do so for the last part of the year and let Yvonne do some really great things. I hope now that Elle knows what her entire family are, the writers will get back to writing her as part of the solution to episodes, not part of the problem.

I think you guys were a little harsh on the overall grade for the episode, again I had the same problems you did, I just enjoyed the first half or so way too much to give it that poor of a grade.

Finally I Love Too is pretty good. I saw it a few weeks ago, and was surprised how much I liked it. I did not know Peter Dinklage was in it, which when I saw that immediately raised the film up a few points.

I think she can be a big actress if she gets a break or two, she really has shown she can do a little bit of everything, now she just needs some director to give her a chance.

    Jason

    ReplyDelete
  35. Jason, I thought we were fair in our grade of the episode. We still gave it a grade of B or B-. And I think when the show delivers a poorly constructed story, then it should be taken to task for it. I expect better from this show. Though, I liked the Mama B stuff and everything with Morgan and Casey.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Oh and as for TERRIERS... I am not going to dive into a show that is about to be canceled. Its ratings are terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hi Magnus,

After listening to your podcast I agree with the sarah grabbing mama b at the end in being contrived. I think that they missed a great opportunity to flesh out sarahs past. Before this episode sarah has been really up for helping chuck find his mum, but as soon as she saw her for the first time you can tell that sarah was looking at a women who she used to be. If they threw in some flashbacks around chuck being shot, the first meeting with mama b, the finding of chuck at the docks where it showed sarah on missions pre chuck then so when casey hands her the file at end a flashback to when sarah first said in tooth that before chuck all she cared about was her next mission but now all she can only think about a life with chuck, then that would have made her decision understandable and would we would see where she was coming from, alas they used the buymore instead and it just brought the episode down, they missed an opportunity here and that is disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I think the biggest problem with the story in this one is that they tried to force some Halloween theme that really didn't belong in such a big episode.

    ReplyDelete
  39. If they wanted to go halloween they simply should just have had sarah dress up like marilyn manroe! you know with that white dress and a heating vent underneath that blew the dress up, that would have been halloween at it's most awesome! I can picture sarah with that beautiful hair stlye and oh my god, hotness and sexyness, ooh la la! But then again if that happened chuck probably would not be able to speak or move or stay conscious because all the blood would have gone from his brain.

    ReplyDelete
  40. great podcast as always magnus...nice to hear from Princess B & her mom as well...

I have to say, I was also disappointed in this episode for the very same reasons you stated. I largely felt the biggest problem was your last statement:

    Magnus Anton Lekay said...
I think the biggest problem with the story in this one is that they tried to force some Halloween theme that really didn't belong in such a big episode.

It had such potential but failed to pull it off...Oh well, at least there is next week to look forward to.

  41. I was a bit suprised how negative you were about this episode, while i agreed with you about the scene with nerve gas, i also didn't like they made Chuck and Sarah carry idiot ball in that scene, but it hardly ruined the episode for me. And i actually liked the final scene, because they gave Casey and Sarah good motivation for their actions, they had to act fast and took opportunity to arrest her at first chance, so what Ellie didn't meet her mother, she will get over it...and it's not like they took her to some away for good, as the promo showed they took her to castle.

Btw i found it weird you didn't mention Sarah/MamaB standoff scene (except this weird hair comment), i found it really good and i think it sets up future relations between those two characters...you know in a way that they hate each other, but will have to work together.

    ReplyDelete
  42. You know Magnus I think that sarah broke the agreement that they made in the premier about no secrets and no lie. But I think that there is something a lot deeper that ultimately I do not think the show runners are going to address. The deeper concern for me is that when chuck and sarah made that agreement in the premier, for me the way sarah’s character is set up, that agreement was always going to benefit sarah. Sarah wanted that agreement so she could keep tabs on chuck and know everything about him, I do not think she was ever going to recipocate, because she rarely has done in the past! And this is where I know the show runners will not push this to issue to the forefront I think chuck should say you do not trust me, you do not trust my judgement, you broke the agreement, you told shaw your name, you told him your red test, you never treat me as an equal, I am the only one who ever opens up emotionally about my past and I am sick of it! I really want chuck and sarah to really go at each other badly, I mean I want real emotions to come out from both as well as tears, anger, shouting, passion and desire! I really think that this has been building for a long time now, Sarah has always wanted this emotional relationship with chuck, right from the pilot she said please trust me, and in the helicopter episode we saw how upset she got when he did not and he thought the worst in her and she was hurt and upset. I think that the show runners will not do this but I wish they did, it would make their relationship more real and it could bring up a lot of hurt that chuck may feel, especially her telling shaw stuff about her past! Well that just bugs me that she told him her name, I mean come on that should always have been saved for chuck!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Luke, Sarah broke no agreement.

Harku, I said I liked all of the Mama B scenes except the final. So, that would include the stand-off.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Diane says...

I agree with your sentiments about the "poison toxin" plot and execution. It wasn't good at all.

But, I don't agree about the ending. I really liked it. I also thought Zac played it well when he spoke to Ellie. You could tell that Chuck was very upset and possibly even angry, but he was holding a lot of it in for Ellie's sake.

But, everyone is entitled to a different opinion/interpretation of the scene. I can see how different people can have different tolerance levels for that kind of thing.

I also agree with you that Sarah broke no agreement. This "agreement" stuff apparently is a hot debate elsewhere in Chuck fandom.

Whatever Chuck is feeling, the last thing I expect him to say in the next episode is "you broke our agreement".

    ReplyDelete
  45. what!!!!!! it may have not been a lie, but it was SOOOOOO a secret. she wore a mask so that no one, not even chuck would know that it was her who took his mom! She could have called chuck and told him the situation no matter how tough a call it would have been to make for sarah. Sometimes I watch a moment when sarah is at the Dr's house and pleads with him and tells him that chuck is incredibly special and she always reinforces his abilities and then she does this, I know it is his mom and he can be emotionally comprimised but I would like ...... maybe this is just sarah's own abandoment and trust issues coming to the fore where she does not want to give chuck up, even to his mom. She has said your "my chuck", maybe we are finally seeing just what she meant when she said that......

I just had to say I Just Turn 25 YEARS OLD

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yeah, they only problem I had with the ending is that she was wearing the mask. It was fairly obvious that Chuck was not completely trusting of his mother. He would have understood Sarah wanting to take her in after the new evidence was explained and spare Ellie the pain of reconnecting just to lose her again. In other episodes they have had Casey and Sarah approach and explain the situation. The snatch and grab was just a poor plot device to add tension to their relationship. I'm thinking this will get worse before it gets better. We all know Sarah will not like Chuck going on a solo rogue mission. I'd expect that to add fuel to the fire. Unless she actually apologizes for the way she handled things at the end of this last episode. Who knows? Well, actually, Magnus knows but probably isn't telling.

    Crash

    ReplyDelete
  49. I will say it again... no agreement was broken. And Sarah has NOTHING to apologize for.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I am still of mind that mama b is like nicolas cage character in lord of war, she works for people who do the dirty work the US cannot be seen to be doing.....the file casey found was planted for volkoffs men or any rogue organisation like fulcrum or the ring who have access to these files. Mama b did say she was very deep when she left, this kind of job is also continuous because there are always wars and disagreements between countries and so weapons always have to be distributed, I think in a way why would the CIA want to take down Volkoff!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I think Sarah clearly did not trust Mama B through out but suppresses her doubts because she wants to support Chuck. Casey puts Sarah into an unwinnable situation and as for the balaclavas and snatch squad I think she tried to have her cake and eat it and she's ended up making things a lot worse for herself by ending up in exactly the situation she was probably trying to avoid.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Magnus,

Why do you think that sarah did not break their agreement? I think the fans believe that since sarah did not tell chuck she was going to kidnap his mom then that is a secret, they agreed no secrets or lies. Even your previous podcaster lou thought that she broke the agreement, unless you know something about the next episode that changes the situation........

    ReplyDelete
  53. Sarah didn't lie to Chuck. She didn't hide anything from Chuck. She didn't misrepresent anything to Chuck. She believed Mama B to be an enemy spy and did her job. People harping on the hood is silly. Everyone was wearing a hood. Hell, that should happen more often on this show. Spies don't want the general public to see their faces.

If you have been watching this show for 4 seasons, then you should quickly be able to figure out what will bother Chuck in the next episode. That was always my old podcast mates problem... his blind spot is character motivations.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I think what may bother chuck is that Ellie got hurt in the end of the last episode and chuck will go to any lengths to prove his moms innocence if it can give Ellie back her mom. It is the reason he tracked down his dad in the first place, for Ellie. So if sarah does not agree to help chuck on his quest he may go on a rogue mission......

    ReplyDelete
  55. I think that some people forget that chuck is sarah's family and home not Ellie, awesome and morgan. So her actions will always be to a) protect chuck and b) do her job. So the fact that Ellie got hurt will not factor into her decision making at all.........

    ReplyDelete
  56. Dale, they are ALL Chuck's family.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Yeah I know they are all chuck's family but just not sarah's. I mean how often do we see sarah talk to Ellie, Morgan and awesome ....not often.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I see what you are saying... but still, Sarah loves Chuck and so his family is her family, even if she doesn't know them well or even like them.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Another point that supports my theory on mama b working for an organisation that does the dirty work for the US is that chuck did not flash on project Isis. If the project was real or mama b was supposed to be a known agent or a rogue agent then it would be in the intersect! So the fact that he did not flash on his mom or any of her work certainly is interesting........

    ReplyDelete
  60. I find it funny that you say Sarah has nothing to apologize for. I agree, she had his best interests at heart, but if they go the cheap way with this, (Chuck just getting upset that she took his mom & not that she did it in secret) which is usually the way they go, then I can see Sarah not having anything to apologize for. In that case, it would be an incredibly lame argument on Chuck's part. Also, Sarah never has to apologize, that has always been Chuck's job. Kinda lame, but that's just the way they do this show.

Sorry Magnus. I just don't see it the way you do I guess. It doesn't make sense because Casey and Sarah were strapped for time. It would have made more sense to call Chuck and see if he had even met up with his mother yet. You can't set up an op in that kind of time without knowing the details. Knowing how important this was to Chuck, details should have been shared. Chuck would have done the right thing. Chuck always does the right thing. Isn't that the premise of the show. He sees the good in people and explores that, but at the end of the day does what's right to protect his family, friends and country. It's obviously angst generation by the writers, but definitely places some sort of blame directly on Sarah's shoulders. Even if his mom is the bad guy here, it really doesn't make her actions any better. At least not in my mind.

    Crash

    ReplyDelete
  61. Crash, Chuck's problem with what Sarah did is not related to breaking the agreement... and that is what I was referring to when I said she had nothing to apologize for. Their issue, or the issue of the fight in the next episode, is about what Chuck sees as her lack of TRUST or BELIEF in him.

And Chuck DOESN'T always do the right thing. He often does the wrong thing. He THINKS he is doing the right thing all the time, though. Sarah did what she felt needed to be done and figured Chuck would try to stop her... and I feel that based on something he says in the next episode, that he would have happily let his mother get away.

Sarah has no faith in Mama B while Chuck has too much faith. They need to meet in the middle somehow. But Chuck's blind faith in a woman who abandoned his family for a couple of decades and suddenly arrives on the scene is illogical and Sarah is simply looking out for what she sees as his blind spot.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Diane says...

People always accuse the writers of putting too much angst into the show, but I often see more angst being invented by fans than is actually in the show.

This "breaking an agreement" stuff is a perfect example, IMO. (Can I hear "Stand by your man" playing in the background?)

Magnus, I think your assessment is spot on. Sarah was doing her job and looking out for Chuck.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Diane, since joining this fandom midway through season 2, I have seen more angst generated by the fans than has ever appeared in any single episode. Which seems to me indicates that people LOVE angst.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hi Magnus,

Are we going to get a chuck and sarah fight like in honeymooners, because they were great together in that scene. Because they were so syncronised it was poetry in motion!

    ReplyDelete
  65. I have a feeling that They make Chuck again a silly, stupid, fool, Spy . It is almost Jill 2.0 ARC :( .
In the end of the episode Chuck is wrong , and the next episode he try to prove himself, but ofcourse He gets into trouble , wich is proving that He is a Silly Spy. And SArah again Save Him and we al know the Story.
I hope I'm wrong, and I'm going to ask for apologies if I was Wrong, But .....
I feel This is going to Happen. And this is Sad.
In the last season the Orion story was so good, Chuck was So good as a SPY , and look like we give back the old silly Chuck.
It is sad , because it almost look like that Morgan is better in every way then Chuck, both personal and professional life.

  66. Snips, I love how some of you can spec yourself into being super negative... and wrong... and then you motivate other people to be just as negative as you, and wrong... and then it just breeds more negative... and wrong... speculating for rest of the season. But you cats NEVER seem to catch on, or admit, how consistently wrong you are.

    Why is that?

ZLP, I guess you will just have to watch to find out. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hi Magnus,

With regards to snips comment, I am looking forward to seeing in the fear of death episode how chuck is going to prove himself! He is taking on a really dangerous mission with an over eager guest agent and I wonder does he pull it off? It does make me wonder though how badly chuck f***** up if in that episode he thinks that he could lose everything personally and professionally! Maybe he lets mama b go in first fight!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Chris... you will see. You will see. Things are not going well for our nerdy little hero.

    ReplyDelete
  69. You know I do not know much about spying, my knowledge extends to bond films that I have seen, but how does a mission go for 20 years? I mean in 3 years chuck and his sidekicks (casey and sarah) have take down 2 global terrorist organisations in 3 years, so firstly what is up with that! secondly how come jace lacob give the worst advanced previews!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Josh, what is wrong with Jace's previews?

As for a 20 year mission... shrug. IT IS A TV SHOW!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Hey Magnus,
I don't usually go off and post long specs, but something about this made it difficult to resist.

"Things are not going well for our nerdy little hero." That might turn out being a gross understatement.

Let's see - to begin with Beckman finds out about Chuck's Mom and probably everything that led up to it. Chuck goes on a rogue mission. Chuck talks to everyone but Sarah about their fight.
Now just specing on twists but knowing Chuck, I don't put it past him to let Mom be rescued/captured by Volkov's men to save her life - maybe even stopping Sarah in the process.

Whatever trust Chuck had built up in the CIA and with Sarah would evaporate - what was it you said Magnus:
"Over time she not only loves him but begins to see a real possibility of spending the rest of her life with him and starting a family with him. This is beyond a fantasy for her... it was once an impossibility and now it is the most real thing in her life.
And then one day someone decides that she can't have that anymore."

If this happens, Chuck is telling her that she can't have it.

I think Chuck is going to have to do some really radical things to win back all that trust. And we all know that when chuck is emotional, things don't always work out well.

So we are entering the dark times you mentioned - the beginning of "..a series of episodes so brilliant one insider cried talking about them! "
Can't wait! Is it Chuckday yet?

  72. Good grief, is every spoiler from now until the end of the season going to send people into a shipper tizzy. I understand that people apparently have PTSD over last season but it really dampers the fun of speculation when you can't get a two sentence synopsis (that is usually misleading anyway) without people declaring the writers liars and this season a waste. I'm sorry for venting but I've really been enjoying this season and it gets kind of tiring discussing it with people who are having 'nam flashbacks.

  73. Yeah PeterO,

That sounds a little too complicated and dark even for chuck man! Also has Magnus not said like 50 times that the split is not a breakup and it does not have anything to do with mama b. So your spec on letting her go or captured means it is to do with mama b. The proving himself might be something totally different, i think it maybe all in chucks head, I mean sarah has already said that she will always love chuck and that will never change and that she wants to marry him, so it maybe just chuck taking on something way dangerous to placate himself and his insecurities.
