When Morgan's decision to move out lands him back sleeping at the Buy More, a friend presents him with a new living arrangement.
Sarah reluctantly joins Ellie on a shopping expedition, one that turns into an epiphany about wedding plans... that might include a private island.
Does Sarah decide she wants a small wedding with just close friends there? It seems she would be freaked out about a big wedding. But one that is a small private one might be up her ally.

The private island is her dad's that he conned off a billionaire . " Bigger the lie , the easier it is to believe " . :) Maybe they go back to Costa Gravas ( now with subway sandwich franchises lol )
I am curious about the new Morgan living arrangement. Not so much about the wedding stuff.
ReplyDeleteI just find it intriguing that they seem to be putting more and more Sarah-Ellie scenes. Not that I dislike them, I just think this might lead to a point where this connection between the both of them plays a more relevant role.

Casey seems the logical choice for Morgan, but wouldn't that be wierd to live with your girlfriends father, but this is Chuck, Sarah's dad is running from the law,to have the ceremony away from laws is also logical and it would give Chuck and Sarah a romantic place to honeymoon. But unfortunately Chuck and Vivian were a hotter couple than Sarah and Chuck. I hope they are downplaying the romance so a little looks like a lot.

I think Morgan's new roommate will be Casey. It would keep him at the complex and they wouldn't need to add another set.

Wouldn't that be Casey's plan though ? After walking in on Morgan and his daughter doing whatever they were doing ( lol ) , he probably wants to keep an eye on both of them . What better way than to have Morgan move in with him :)
Also I could see Casey feeling somewhat responsible for Morgan moving out after their conversation . Morgan wouldn't have thought twice about moving out if Casey hadn't brought it up .

Love it to be Lester. Newly mature Morgan living with half of Jeffster, imagine the hilarity and Jeff crashing on the couch. It'll end up being Casey though I expect.
ReplyDeleteThis is probably the wrong place for this but after reading Mr. tweet I realied what I found disturbing about this seasons Chuck. Watch the preview for the bank of evil and follow. They turned the Chuck cast into a bunch of lovey dovey feel good do do gooders. Sarah and Chuck talking about their feelings on missions all the time, Robb a bank instead, Casey picking off all of the shooters while half of his body is exposed and only one shot came near him, put him in a Rambo type shoot them up scene. Chuck running like a girl almost getting shot by Casey, Have him protect vivian like he was supposed to. They wussed Chuck and Sarah out to much this season. Watch the promo and just think about the possibilities of how good the two of them are as badasses. Show the bumbling nerd off missions Show a badass Chuck during missions and loose the lady wuss. Go back and watch Seasons 1&2 look at badass Casey and Badass Sarah, Look at badass Sarah Phase 3. Now watch the promo again pretty confident badass pair this is what is hot and will gain viewers.

I see Vivian walking a thin line between good and evil. Only after she sees Alexi in action will she go 100% eitehr good or evil.
ReplyDeleteGiven it's unlikely any Bartowski wedding will go off without a hitch, the idea of one being on a private island has a lot of dramatic possibilities.
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that if Sarah's epiphany about the wedding is the same one that Magnus was talking about before, then it should be surprising and interesting since Magnus said before that it surprised him when he found out what they were doing. I wonder what epiphany could Sarah posibly have that would "bring her character full circle" and shock Magnus?

I must admit, Vivian is more classically beautiful then sarah, she has a perfect smile and face....

ReplyDelete@AB I too am curious about whether the "emotional epiphany" and the wedding plan epiphany are one in the same and more importantly: how are they connected? I am figuring that the wedding plan epiphany probably leads to the emotional one, but how? Also, the private island thing keeps throwing me off.

Maybe these epiphanies are related in that she realizes that through her wedding she can heal whatever emotional pain and "comlicated and strained" relationship she has with her mother, her family and whatever rift happened between all of them including Jack Burton. Maybe the sister story wasn't just a cover story after all and her growing relationship with Ellie helps her to reach out to her own sister. Sarah becomes like Chuck as the one who wants to bring her family together and show them what can happen with a family that has been so disrupted and hurt by events.

ReplyDeleteWhile Casey is likely person, I also know how much Magnus loves to get us thinking in the wrong direction. "a friend" could be any of the buy morons, Moma B, General Beckman, Devin, Alex, or even Carina.
We'll find out Monday who it is.

I see Ellie building Sarah's confidence in non spy life the same way Sarah built Chuck's confidence in the spy life. Sarah has been a spy and con artist kid that she doesn't know who she is as a normal person. Ellie will help her find the normal Sarah.

I think the growth Sarah/Ellie relationship is something the vast majority of fans have been wanting for a long time. The scene in CAT Squad was played perfectly establishing the awkwardness of Sarah taking those terrifying steps towards someone she cares about and trusts but someone who can be very intimidating to someone like her. I never got how anyone could question their chemistry there as it was perfectly shown as being awkward but something both of them want to grow from. It was probably their best scene ever.
