Why is Joshua Gomez getting a more important slot introduction than Yvonne? That's BS. Season 5 is going to blow with all the attention they are going to give Morgan.
The morgan issue is a macguffin (I think). Like in every comic con they never actually talk about the cool stuff they intend to do. Season 2 comic con they skipped a lot of cool stuff, season 3 comic con they skipped tons, season 4 the same. So I see season 5 comic con I see it being no different. I think the only way that morgan will really use the intersect would be to restart a fight club in the buymore and take jeff and lester out kung fu style, lol. I think this season is all about send off's for the major characters. Casey will ride off into the sunset with someone, ellie and awesome the same and of course chuck and sarah will get the biggest and best send off ever.
I think Ryan Magee said it best in his review of the season 3 premier. All the spy stuff is window dressing and not too important in the grand scheme of things. The most important parts are chucks relationships with the people he loves, so whatever Fedak and Schwartz have planned in terms of mythology or even the morgan intersect will be secondary to Chuck's relationships...the most important being the one with the love of his life...the meatball marinara....
Except Morgan as the Intersect IS part of Chuck's relationships. And how that affects their relationship is going to be an important part of the season.
Fedak said there is/there could be a major death this season, I wonder if it is Morgan. The intersect fry's his brain or changes his personality like volkoff and they cannot change him back. pretty bleak way to go, but would be cool to see evil morgan and how that affects Chuck.
Yeah kill everyone but chuck and Sarah in the first episode and from episode 2 onwards have chuck and Sarah mr and mrs smith. Making out for 12 episod straight while fighting crime. That will be the cheapest season ever!
I don´t really worry about Chuck not being in the midst of everything anymore.
But I am not looking forward to a season, that features heavily on Chuck´s relationship with Morgan. At least it sounds as if Casey will have something going on, with that rival spy company woman.
Sarah was hardly mentioned. Fedak only talked about Chuck´s spy company, but I guess it´s probably also going to be Sarah´s company, although that might not be that important.
It´s great and moving to see them all being so passionate and I really enjoyed almost everything we have gotten so far, but I still sometimes feel, as if they are passionate about a different show than the one I really like.
I wouldn´t have minded, if they had killed Morgan off at the end of season 2, but I introduced my brother to the show and he watched all four seasons straight with Morgan ending up being his favourite character followed by Big Mike. So I guess some people will love a season full of Morgan and Chuck.
The thing about killing off Casey for me is, the show doesn't really follow through on the aftermath of big moments. I would hate for them to kill him off as merely a plot point, which is all it would be, because they surely wouldn't really explore what his death would mean to the other characters. He's too much a part of the team for them to gloss over it like they did Bryce and Papa B but I fear that's what they would do.
Since Sarah Lancaster will be unavailable for a little while, and with a reduced budget for the show, could these be the reasons that Morgan's intersect storyline gets more airtime than I'd really like.
My first thought on the "big death" was that Casey would be the most likely candidate, plus if it were connected to protecting Morgan as the Intersect and maybe Morgan/Alex it would make sense. Could have used some more Sarah scoop but guess I'll have to wait. Still not sure how I feel about the focus on Chuck being Morgan's "handler"- right now I'm on the fence and it could either be genius or terrible. Don't think I'll be able to decide until I see anything, unless some major info comes out. Also, the "Chuck Season 5 Talking Points" cracked me up!
we have not seen any episodes yet, please wait until we see the episodes to judge the season, maybe morgan, do not remove screen time to Sarah and Casey. I hope. I don't believe they forget the relationship of sarah and chuck, is the heart of the series. Has been the most important part of the series during 4 years, most importantly for the fans.
They need to break Chuck and Sarah up. Based on what we've learned so far, it's the only thing that will swing the storyline back in Sarah's direction.
Until then, she's just "the wife" while Chuck becomes Morgan's handler.
I'd prefer they focus on Chuck/Sarah/Casey in the finale season. I like Morgan, but don't really care to have the focus on him or the "bromance" with Chuck.

ReplyDeleteThat's BS.

MORGAN, Season 1.
ReplyDeleteThe morgan issue is a macguffin (I think). Like in every comic con they never actually talk about the cool stuff they intend to do. ReplyDeleteJosh, Morgan being the Intersect is definitely not a MacGuffin.

ReplyDeleteI think Season 5 is going to be pure heart and excitement. I cant wait.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Any eta on when part 2 of this will be available?
It won't be Morgan. They would never kill him. Zac wouldn't let it happen.
ReplyDeleteI don't know when part 2 will be posted. I thought it was coming out soon but... we wait, patiently.
ReplyDeletei hope that death not be sarah or chuck, they would destroy the show and the fans, they are the heart of the show,do you think like me?answer please.
ReplyDeleteObviously they are going to kill both Chuck and Sarah, duh.
ReplyDeleteironic? lol,i just wondering if this is possible.i hope not.
ReplyDeleteNothing ironic about it.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course they wouldn't kill the lead character for whom the show is named. And they won't kill Sarah. Everyone else is an open mark.
thanks for the answer,if they will kill someone,i hope not, i bet for some of the buy more workers,or Casey. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteI think I have been asking for them to kill Casey for two seasons.
ReplyDeleteAnd they already killed a Buy More employee before. They need to kill someone else.
I would place my 100 Costa Gravan pesos on General Beckman. And another 100 CGP that at the end they won't kill anyone...

ReplyDeleteIt's big and dramatic and "the end" :)

This was bound to happen once they married them.
Please tell me that this season won't be Morgan and Chuck/Morgan bromance centered and they will give some good focus to Sarah and Casey...ehh
ReplyDeleteStill TOO much Morgan for my liking.

Candis Cayne as Gertrude Verbanski!
