I agree with most of those, but how can the scene from the Other Guy where Sarah finally admits she loves chuck not make the list?
ReplyDeleteIt just didn't... it got voted for but in the end, didn't get more votes than the others. I think people split the vote between this and most romantic and it got shuffled out.
ReplyDeleteWow. I don't know where or when this poll was posted but the results are not great. Not a single Chuck saves Sarah from Shaw moment? That was the turning point OF THE ENTIRE SERIES. Chuck finally gets the girl and they will live happily ever after. How could that not be in the top 10? In my opinion, the bit with Sarah's middle name isn't top 10 worthy, and neither is the scene where Sarah can't take the shot because she is worried about Chuck. It is obvious that some people are still upset and think negatively about season 3, which was jammed pack with intense and series-changing moments. Papa B dying? Fights with Shaw? Chuck and Sarah rejections and getting together?

ReplyDeleteno I didn't know this poll existed. I'm kinda new to the whole Chuckmania on the internet stuff, considering the fact that I actually just discovered Chuck this summer. I'll even admit, the pilot and the second episode weren't that interesting and I didn't fall in love right away. But after watching every episode five times in the span of a month and a half, im addicted to the show

Yea you never know with polls. People have such varied opinions. Hopefully season 4 will have some great moments that would make the top 10. After listening to your recent podcast, I have high hopes for season 4. And apparently, the S4 first ep is really good, according to a few critics. can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI liked a lot of the choices. But I did not agree with the scene from Lethal Weapon for most romantic. I thought it would for sure come from the third season. The poll results were definitely a little too skewed towards the second season for my taste.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching all the scenes and I mostly agree with the dramatic moments! I can say I'm a bit baffled that the taking down Shaw/Chuck saves Sarah didn't make it, but since I missed voting I can't complain!

Voting fell over my being on vacation and between thinking about it, too much, and taking care of the family, the time to vote slipped through my fingers before I knew it...
Big Thanks Magnus for all the time and effort you put into this. You go above and beyond for the Chuck Fandom and you really should be commended for it :)
Speaking as a die hard season two fan even I didn't agree with some of these choices. I think the issue wasn't so much which scenes were chosen but what order they were voted in. The videos were very enjoyable however. :) The romantic scene with Morgan and Chuck made me laugh.

ReplyDeleteI just rewatched the Pilot today for the eleventeenth time. Pilot + v. the Helicopter are key to so many things that happen later. Of course, I may feel that way because I didn't join the fun until episode 1.6 and watched the pilot episode after season 2 started. Glad you've found Chuck now!
