A...Magnus, thanks for all the info and all you do!

A little while ago you posted a teaser saying that Chuck is horrified by how easily Sarah seduces her mark. Has this already happened? Was this referring to how easily Sarah "seduced" Volkoff into accepting her onto his team?

If not - based on the promo for 4.14 and the much talked about bellydancing - is it possible that the seduction is actually related to Chuck and Sarah's disagreement in 4.14 and Sarah trying to use her womanly assets to seduce Chuck into seeing things her way, whatever that may be. And Chuck could be horrified at how quickly he gives in...?

Wow, that sounds so much cheesier once it was written out and not just floating around in my head anymore.

Thanks! That in those files in orions cave listed details of other family he has that works or worked on those projects! So chuck basically puts together that all along that the spy business as his dad said in his will is in their blood. That would certainly make sense about it being from the pilot and it would mean that when volkoff says that i have my finger on everything, chuck can say so do I and the big reveal is that he has been in contact with all of his family and has his own army that takes down volkoff with him. Why are Volkoff and Chuck in his dads Cabin? Why does Sarah want Chuck specifically to have the part of "hydra"? Why was hydra labeled in the vault? Why did Volkoff feel the need to destroy Stephens life work? How much has Chuck been working behind the scenes to figure out the volkoff organization (tron poster moment)? What really was the suppression device? (why didn't his dad want him to see it?) What was in the latest intersect? Why does Mama b know "everything there is to know about the intersect?" anything else I am forgetting?

Why can Chuck handle the intersect, when few others can? Why is Chuck "Special," as Stephen suggests?

I think there is a larger truth that connects the dots, and this is what we will see in Chuck 413.

KevinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650881006188776870.post-50343953799817120472011-01-31T14:06:42.417-05:002011-01-31T14:06:42.417-05:00Are we going to find out that Sarah is really a ma...Are we going to find out that Sarah is really a man? He asked her to believe him that it wasn't what she thought she saw, and she said "I don't(believe you). However, later when Chuck told her he loved her (over and over and over again),and asked her to meet him at the train station and run away with him (apologizing for what he did in Prague),it seemed she was packing to go with him, ready to trust him and believe in him. We don't know for sure, because that's when Casey came and told her that he killed the mole, and she broke into one of the most dazzling smiles ever seen.
It would most satisfying if Chuck came around on his own, believing in the woman he knows and loves, before he gets the proof from Casey. Honeymooners is as perfect an episode as this show has ever done. Other Guy did one thing and one thing only, it put Chuck and Sarah together but did nothing to deal with or fix 12 episodes of missteps, miscastings and poor execution. There was no proper setup to getting them together and the DYLM scene didn't fix what went wrong up to that point in the least. All it did was end the misguided PLI arc.

As far as Sepinwall goes, I agree that what he did was wrong, but I don't agree that if he spoiled the proposal that it equal to him disappointing fans if it doesn't. Many of us feel the story is demanding it happens tonight so we have all been fully expecting to get that payoff. So if it does I don't think it really spoils anything. The fans are already expecting it. Now if it doesn't happen there will be a lot of backlash towards him because he had to know he was basically confirming it to a very large part of the fanbase. Disappointing many fans who honestly feel you can't have the best 10 minutes of the show ever without it.

So that being said to me the fallout will not be equal and he, wrongly IMO, decided to run with it. He should have simply not posted anything about it. I may disagree with your style much of the time but I will say that you would never spoil anything that big and I commend you for it. Alan just made a different choice.uplinknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650881006188776870.post-32498225157625658592011-01-31T11:07:14.580-05:002011-01-31T11:07:14.580-05:00Mike G, you will know in a few hours.
Henry, Othe...Mike G, you will know in a few hours.

Henry, Other Guy sucks compared to Honeymooners. Respectfully.

Fox, Alan does get the episodes ahead of time (but not always), and he knew exactly what he was doing when he tweeted that. I just think it is pointless to do it. People are tuning in anyway. There aren't really people seeking out his CHUCK blog postings unless they are CHUCK fans (or haters who are either already tuning in to hate the show, or have no intentions of doing so). To tease a proposal isn't positive in any way. If it happens, you spoiled it for those who didn't want t know. If it doesn't happen, you unnecessarily anger people who were expecting it.Razorbackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01377660997495990065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650881006188776870.post-40503290257951010272011-01-31T10:10:26.825-05:002011-01-31T10:10:26.825-05:00I know I'm incredibly late to the party, but h...I know I'm incredibly late to the party, but here goes a little proposal spec'ing (I'm not a shipper, nor will I be upset one way or another, just stating this for fun): I do believe the engagement will take place in 4.13. I've flip flopped on that decision many times. My biggest reason for thinking it would not take place was one of the spoilers here about how "getting the back-end pickup did push the engagement back." I also understand that they re-wrote or altered 4.13 after getting the pickup but I still can't shake the feeling that there are only certain payoffs the writers understand would leave the viewers with "goosebumps" and some of the other adjectives they've described this episode. That, coupled with the a recent tweet by sepinwall which said "4.13 would have been a very satisfying series finale but im glad its not." IMHO once "teasing" the fans with the proposal plot line, it would be a stretch to call a series ending episode without that conclusion as "satisfying." I understand that is putting a lot of weight into one tweet, but I think there are two important factors when examining it. 1) Sepinwall specifically said "as a series finale..." so, even knowing that the ep has been reworked with the back-end pickup in mind, to a large degree it was still approached and executed as a series finale. 2) Not to paint him in a corner or put words in his mouth, but it often seems as though Sepinwall sides more with the shippers in having Chuck and Sarah together and happy. Again, pure speculation into a tweet, but putting those thoughts together it seems hard for me to believe Sepinwall could find this a satisfying series finale without the proposal plot wrapped up pretty nicely. That, however does allow for one wrench, so to speak, to that theory and its the many references on this site to "Chuck vs. the leathal weapon". As pointed out here many times, the way it was handled in that episode, it was equally satisfying the way Chuck told Sarah he wouldn't move in, as it would have been if they had so, the possibility certainly exists that Schwartz and Fedak found a way to delay the proposal in a way that clearly demonstrates the love these two share for each other. So, with that all in mind (and much more not worth writing out) I do truly believe the engagement is going to happen tonight in 4.13. That said, I've been wrong many times about this show but never disappointed so either way I'm excited to see what tonight offers.Mike Gnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4650881006188776870.post-89935016206808539912011-01-31T09:00:45.175-05:002011-01-31T09:00:45.175-05:00Dear Magnus, I have to partially disagree with you...Dear Magnus, I have to partially disagree with you about Other Guy vs. Honeymooners. IMO Other Guy was an overall better episode than Honeymooners (both highly enjoyable, anyway), but I know that I am part of a minority in this. But I agree with you that Other Guy could have been possibly a good season's ending, but not the series finale. I already said (maybe you remember) that for me the wedding is the only event that could give a worth ending to the whole series: and hopefully it will happen in season 5, not 4. And I also understand in this sense the ZL's interview, if they know that the series will come to an end this year, they will have to make it happen...
Having said that, my only concern about the engagement is that this episode seems to be so full of events that I hope that they don't "force" it, to have also the engagement in that. If it fits smoothly in the whole episode story, ok, if not, I can live without it for some more weeks...Henrynoreply@blogger.com
